Emmanuel G. Androulakis

Emmanuel has 25 years of experience in Private Equity and Investment Banking. Emmanuel started his career in the Equity Research department of UBS Investment Bank, where he specialised in Metals & Mining and was ranked #1 Analyst by Institutional Investor and Reuters, both in the European and Global surveys.

Emmanuel then moved on to the M&A department of the Bank, focusing on South-East Europe and gained a wealth of complex transaction structuring and execution experience, leading many equity, debt and M&A transactions as well as Government privatisations. After 8 years with UBS Investment Bank, he moved to Greece to set up and head the Investment Banking department of Axia Ventures Group, an independent investment banking boutique.

Having grown this to Greece’s largest independent Investment Banking team, he returned to London to join the Executive Management of the Libra Group, a multi-billion private family office specializing in distressed investments and special situations, as the Executive Vice President for 5 years completing several sizeable investments in a diverse range of sectors (including energy, retail, financial services, telecoms, hospitality and real estate) coupled with various Executive positions at subsidiary and portfolio company level.

Emmanuel holds a First Class Honours B.Sc. in Banking & International Finance from CASS Business School in London and an M.Phil. in Finance from St John’s College, University of Cambridge.

Emmanuel is a fellow of the Cambridge European Trust and served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Hellenic Bankers Association, UK. Emmanuel is the Managing Partner of ALPHACAP Partners.
